About the practice
Writing, photography, and art, made by one hand
My work examines the human condition, this world we inhabit, and the One who made it all.
Background
From prose to the darkroom and back
I began writing essays and short prose, then picked up a camera to study the same questions through light and place. Over time the darkroom and the studio became part of the writing process, and mixed media became the place where the three forms meet.
Each medium asks for a different kind of attention. I like letting each work keep its own character rather than forcing everything into one style.
How I work
Observation, drafting, production
01
Observe
Projects often begin with field notes, camera studies, or physical material tests, collected before any decision about the final form.
02
Draft
Notes become prose, sequences, or sketches. I test which medium carries the idea most clearly before committing to one.
03
Produce
The chosen form is finished with care: final prints, edited text, or completed artwork, each given room to stand on its own.
